Just cover Katy Perry in daisies and diamonds.
In fact, the pop star managed to wear both when she stepped out at the reopening of Tiffany & Co.'s New York City flagship store on April 27. In a red carpet interview, Katy shared that she was rocking a pair of the jewelry brand's heritage daisy-styled earrings in honor of her and fiancé Orlando Bloom's 2-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
"My crown jewel is my daughter," she explained. "I'm always paying homage to her in any way I can, even with a little jewelry."
Katy, who arrived in a vintage ivory Christian Dior gown before changing into a strapless blue dress for her performance inside, noted that she also made sure to include a nod to Daisy Dove in her onstage ensemble.
"When someone says 'sing' and 'diamonds' and 'together,' I'll be here," she said with a laugh, adding, "I've got some daisy broaches that they lent me."
The glitzy event boasted a guest list that included Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Zoë Kravitz, Florence Pugh, Mark Wahlberg, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Tracee Ellis Ross, Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz, Jacob Elordi, Anitta and Jimin of BTS.
While the night was the first time stars saw the inside of the Tiffany store since it closed down for renovations in 2019, Katy is admittedly very familiar with the experience of opening the label's iconic blue box.
"Mine was a weird one," she recalled of her first brush with Tiffany. "An ex-boyfriend gave me a blue box that wasn't exactly a blue box filled, and we never heard from him again."
But as the American Idol judge quipped, "I'm here to make up for it tonight!"
