Not to sound like a broken record, but the 2025 Grammys nominations are finally here.
It’s true! The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 67th annual award show on Nov. 8—with a little help from some famous friends. Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monét, Ben Platt, Brandy Clark, Kirk Franklin, Jim Gaffigan and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong were among the stars to helped reveal which musicians are in the running for a trophy.
Among the top contenders are Beyoncé, with 11 nods, as well as Charli xcx, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone with seven each. Following closely behind with six nominations are Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
Needless to say, the recognition was music to nominees’ ears. Miley Cyrus, for instance, celebrated Queen Bey's nods for Cowboy Carter, including their joint nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for the single "II Most Wanted."
"Shotgun Riders Forever!" Miley wrote on her Instagram Stories. "Congratulations on all of your deserved nominations!"
Similarly, Cardi B was thrilled "Enough (Miami)" is up for Best Rap Performance.
"Ahhhh so grateful.." she wrote in her own post, "and the fact that this song is my light work. Whew!!! This album honey...anyways thank you guys. Enjoy your day!!"
Fans will see which nominees take home some hardware when the Grammy Awards are broadcast live from L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena on CBS and Paramount+ Feb. 2.
