Reese Witherspoon is always there to support a fellow Monterey mom.
That’s why the Oscar winner, along with her two eldest kids Ava Phillippe and Deacon Phillippe, whom she shares with ex Ryan Phillippe, had a sweet night out in support of her longtime pal and Big Little Lies costar Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut Blink Twice.
Reese and Deacon, 20, walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere on Aug. 8. The Legally Blonde star was all smiles in a chic black top and matching pants while her music producer son went more casual in a navy polo shit and white Dockers with white sneakers.
And while she opted out of the carpet, Ava, 24, who showed off her newly dark locks with a white button-down top and sparkly black shorts, posed with her mom and brother inside the event.
The Morning Show star, 48, who is also mom to 11-year-old son Tennessee with ex Jim Toth, is used to bringing her kids on the red carpet with her. In January, Deacon was by his mom’s side at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards while Ava and Reese were totally twinning in April at a Tiffany & Co. event.
Of course, the red carpet isn’t the only place Reese gives insight into her life as a mom as her kids frequently make appearances on her social media. This includes this past Mother’s Day, she shared a photo with all of her children, writing in the May post, "The greatest gift of my life is being their mom."
And months earlier, she gushed over Deacon on his 20th birthday, calling her eldest son, "Such a ray of sunshine, love and positivity in this world."
Similarly, she gushed over Ava in September for her birthday, writing, "It's the joy of my life to watch you grow and become the most inspiring, thoughtful, creative, dynamic, funny woman. I have learned so much from being your mom."
But while Reese and her kids are often showing off their tight bonds, she’s previously shared insight into her worries as a young mom.
"I had kids when I was 23," Reese told E! News in early 2023, "so I think I always worried, 'Am I doing this right? Am I messed up? Did I do it right?' But now, I feel more confident—I've been doing it for 23 years—that I probably got some stuff right."
